Purpose: This 3-day, Hands-on, Liposuction Workshop is designed to teach surgical skills with the goal of mastery. The end result is that participants will be able to skillfully and safely perform liposuction in their own facility. This course provides a valuable experience for any surgeon eager to expand and improve their skill set and offerings through continued education.
Novices will learn: Essential safety protocols for tumescent anesthesia, Basic liposuction techniques that help to flatten the learning curve and ease, which is the path to competency and safety in performing liposuction procedures, Postoperative care, garments, and therapies.
We begin with classroom didactics to establish the essential knowledge base followed by hands-on, live patient experiences. These 3-5 cases will focus on the torso (abdomen, waist and flanks). This workshop will greatly impact your skill, aesthetic outcomes and most importantly, increase the safety for your patients. Participants receive a video record of the surgeries they have performed to review.
